Would you judge someone based on...?
what someone else told you about them?
I normally don't really do that, whether I hear good or bad about someone, but if I hear bad stuff about someone, I'd be a tad bit cautious around them, especially if a lot of people are saying that person is, I dunno, a backstabber, or something.

I won't judge, but just like you I would be cautious and sometimes even a bit cold if the person that had told me was extremely close friend/or family.

No because you don't know what the truth is. There are two sides to every story and if someone is being nasty behind another's back I would question their motives and integrity. If it was that the person was a rapist and they were trying to protect me that would be different. If it was a lot of people saying the same thing I would be more likely to believe it but I would like more information from the person being spoken about if possible.

I'd be pretty cautious around that certain person, but I wouldn't truly believe it or have anything against that person until/unless I meet that person myself. I won't entirely believe something Bob told me about Jerry, if I don't even know Jerry that well. (Ups for example ^-^)

I only judge people based on their actions, and not what people say about others. In the past, people used to say false/untrue things about me. They hated me even through I was a nice, and kind-hearted person. I try not to dwell on that,I don't really care about haters

I try to reserve judgment, but I would certainly take what I heard into account, especially if I trusted the person giving me the information.

We all sort of do, In a way that's why building a reputation can be so cruel because you can't control it. I just try to stay neutral and simply "see for myself". It's best to trust your instincts even if they can be inaccurate at times.
