My wife won't talk, what do I do?

Did your wife know where you were and when you would be getting home, or did she expect you home after your 5:00pm shift? To not call and tell her where you were is a GIANT clue why you are getting the cold shoulder. You should reevaluate you actions and what has caused problems.

until she is ready to talk there is nothing you can do. if there is no logical explanation for her silent treatment just give it back to her. but if you feel that there is a slim chance no matter how small that you have done something wrong then ask her. just say honey have i done something to upset you if i have i am truly sorry because i would never deliberately hurt you or make you mad with me i love you. please tell me whats wrong you are breaking my heart. good luck friend :)

sounds like she either hates you or is having an affair (or both).

If she doesn't care about making the relationship work then I think you should divorce her if you can (I know not everyone can, due to their particular circumstances). But that would be my advice.

Why were you late is the real question here. It seems that this little detail was deliberately omitted by you. Until that is clarified....you need to kiss her butt and let her have her feelings. You probably deserve the cold shoulder.

Obviously you've done something to piss her off. Try to think through what you've done lately. Try to ask again, and tell her that you can't apologize when you don't know what you've done wrong. You're not a mind reader.
