What is the r-value of my product?

I am attempting to assess a general idea of the r-value of this material. I have some single pane windows in my house that I am using as a control. I applied this product to one portion of the window so that it covered half of it. and then applied a piece of tape to the other half of the window to allow for an accurate temperature reading.

the interior of the building is 18 degree's celcius. the outside it -14 celcius. the window area with product on the outside reads -13 while the tape section reads -10.

what is a general r value for this product if you had to give it one?

and no I will not tell you what it is.

you cannot work out the r value from these data. You need to know the area covered, the amount of heat (in watts) that is being transferred, and the temperature difference that results.

You have no way of knowing the heat flow.

Whatever you have used you will be able to find a k value for it, then you can work out the r value of the combination. You will need to know the thickness of the glass and the "product"
