How can I connect my computer to my tv?
My laptop fell a long distance. I was able to turn it on, however the screen is smashed. What kind of cords do I need to plug it into my tv and how? I also want to know if there's a way to connect it to another laptop to use the screen on that one? Thanks in advance for your help.

All you have to do is connect a HDMI cable from your computer to the TV. And trying to share screens with another laptop wont work. Ignore all the other complicated stuff people are saying it's a lot easier than you think.

With so little information given, all I can suggest is for you to locate the laptop's video out port (probably a VGA port) and use a VGA cable to connect it to the TV's VGA in port. The laptop's owner's manual will give the proper keyboard keys to route the display to the port.
Connecting to another laptop is not possible as there is no video in port on any laptop.
