Can I ask Locks of Love to send my hair to a specific cancer patient?
Yes, I've heard about Locks of Love possibly being a scam, but I'm pretty sure that some of the hair actually goes to patients. My question is, once I chop my hair off, can I ask Locks of Love to send it to a specific person? A link or some sort of contact info is appreciated :) thanks in advance!

if you want to do a private donation, are you going to pay for making the wig too?

A girlfriend of mine donated 10 inches of hair to an organization for her sister in law whose scalp was torn off in a machine accident - it was a local private organization though.
Call your local cancer treatment center and ask if they can put you through to someone who might know the answer - if you are serious.
