what would cause my answer to disappear without notification.?
twice now I have had an answer disappear. as far as I can tell if my answers were reported or deleted by others I should receive an email stating such, and hopefully with some kind of reason why. Neither have I recieved any deduction in points that would normally be associated with an answer that violates the guidelines. I am also certain that I haven't put up anything offensive or illegal or offending.
also they are still in the list of questions that I have answered and the questions are still there.
I would like to know if there is some reason they would disappear like this.
In addition I would welcome any comments about others experiencing this, so that I can guage whether this is a glitch or intentional.
I repeat, these are missing answers for questions that are up.
no email has been received after 2 days.
I think I did include a link in the main answer but it is the same link that hasn't caused a problem on other questions. And besides i can't see my answer to make the edit to move it. I may have to make my answers even longer to accomodate moving my links.

Does the answer contain a link? If so, edit the answer, remove the link and see what happens. Many links trigger an antispamming filter that hides the posting from view here. If the link is the issue and is needed, try putting it in the Source box and see if it works then.

Most but Not all deletions are due to violations. If a violation an email is sent
Other reasons are.
The asker removed the question
If there was 0 answers after 4 days, your question will be removed and no email sent
Your question was Answered but you let it go to voting, and the voters chose "No Best Answer" your 5 points will be returned. No email sent.
Best Answer reported as a violation, in that case the question is removed also, no email sent.
When a question is deleted, all of the answers, including the best answer, are deleted as well.
Check your activity tab on your profile page.
If there is nothing about a violation there and you didn't receive an email, then the Q orA was removed for one of the other reasons.

in case you do no longer take part in Yahoo solutions for a jointly as and on your categories then definite you could and could lose your badges. purely bear in mind that the proper contributor badge isn't everlasting in case you lose your badge or badges you will get them returned think of returned to the quite a few varieties you lost them flow returned to the quite a few varieties answer some questions you need to get the badge returned interior each week the proper contributor badge is given and or revoked on Monday mornings.
