I like UFC and boxing. But they're both the same in that the unknown fighters don't make anything and the well-known fighters make a lot. The top UFC fighters don't make as much as the top boxers, but remember that boxing has been around forever and the UFC has been around for 20 years. Most people still have never even heard of the UFC or MMA. But it's true the UFC is privately owned so they don't have to reveal what they pay fighters, and they have no competition so they can make a lot of money, pay the handful of top fighters 1, 2, 3 Million per fight, pay the unknown guys d*ck, and keep the rest for themselves. But bottom line we don't know everything and the UFC can do what they want, fighters don't have to be there. And if enough fighters feel like Rampage and leave then the UFC will have to change. But as long as the UFC pays it's top guys well that sell PPVs, that's all they need. I don't think guys like Rampage are the issue, Dana White came out and said Rampage has made $15.2 million in his 11 UFC fights, and average of $1.38 million per fight. That's not bad, the real problem is the unkown mid-card guys. They don't make enough. They make 10, 20, 30 thousand per fight. They need to make more.

....and that is a surprise how?????
UFC is all about money and making a few people rich, not the fighters, and those few people think it is perfectly OK to literally walk over bodies. It lacks not only in respect to the fighters but in respect to anything and everything in every way and does not care who it teaches this kind of behavior is OK. When you have an organization like that how can you possibly expect respect all in a sudden to the fighters when they respect nothing else. They have made everybody think that they are so great that it is an honor to fight for them and everybody wants to be in the UFC and wants to fight in the UFC I am surprised they pay anything at all and don't expect fighter to pay them (through sponsors) to fight in the UFC kind of like it is in tournaments. So they probably think that by paying the fighters something they are treating the fighter great.
The reason they probably do not allow Reebok to be a visible sponsor in the UFC is probably because they did not set up the sponsorship and therefore are not getting a cut like they do with the other sponsors. That's probably why it was a lucrative sponsorship because UFC is not skimming off the top.
Welcome to the real world.

The UFC, and the sport of MMA, is more entertaining to watch than boxing, at least for me.
MMA training prepares you better for self-defense than boxing training alone.
That's why I prefer MMA over boxing, even though I study boxing's science and history.
The UFC doesn't have enough money to pay guys like Jackson the same money guys like Mayweather are making. MMA is still too young a sport.
But I've also seen boxing shows where the announcers pointed out that we were watching a fight between an up-and-coming prospect, and a guy who's a cop. There's no mystery who's going to win that fight. It's also my understanding that the fighters on the undercard of televised boxing matches get paid $100/round, which still places them desparately below even the lowest-paid MMA fighter on any UFC card.
And don't even get me started on what guys like Don King and Bob Arum did to guys like Ali.
To throw it back in your face, "ur" beloved boxing treats their fighters even worse.

While I agree with that, I dont think UFC is better than boxing, I think MMA is better than boxing as a sport. No disrespect to boxing, but Im a bigger MMA fan. But yeah, the UFC is pretty shady with its fighters. It seems if you are not kissing Dana Whites ***, he is real quick to throw you under the bus for having an opinion of your own.

Oh, yeah, I know. Did you know that the Titanic sank, by the way?
Though why you think this will change anyone's opinion about MMA being better than boxing is beyond me. It sucks for the fighers, but I prefer all the top guys fighting in one org so we can all see who the true elite are. Call me selfish.

What's your question?
There is no such thing as "beloved UFC" and MMA fans already know it.
