Hope this is what you were looking for! It's kind of a stretch to say all these bands are similar to Death Cab for Cutie and Moldy Peaches but I used to listen to those bands quite a bit and with that in mind I'm sure you'll like most of them.

LOL, the Moldy Peaches and Death Cab for Cutie are sooo different. Both lovely though.

For Death Cab: search Wolf Gang, Royal Teeth, or A Silent Film.

For Peaches: search Defiance, Ohio. They are like a watered down folk version of them, but you can download their complete discography legally on their website (they decided to release it under Creative Commons)
