Why do I have to keep reloading pages?

I have a dell inspiron t1545 running windows7.

For the last three days or so, I have to keep reloading pages to get links to work or view photos. Also when I go to sign out of ebay the sign out link is missing, even after reloading lots of times, same sometimes when I try to sign out of aol or yahoo. Also hitting the back button often sends me to "page wont load".

I've tried it on 3 and orange mobile broadband and wi-fi and usb tethering and it mucks about on all of them.

Anybody any ideas please?

Update:

thanks xesse but have no idea how to do that

Update 2:

Thanks Vishal but I am using Firefox 18.0.1.

When I try IE everything seems fine so far.

Update 3:

Vishal I have emailed you the details you asked for, also upgraded to firefox 19 but the troubles still persist. I think you're on the right track as IE and Opera work normally and would be grateful for any further help you can give me.

Update 4:

OK done the obvious, uninstalled Firefox, cleaned registry and reinstalled but already it's up to the same tricks.

Been to dell help and run a PC check and all drivers check out up to date.

Anybody any more ideas PLEASE.

Update 5:

thanks for nothing vishal, don't offer help if you're not going to give it!

    Hello Martin,

It could be an issue with your browser. Firstly I would suggest you to troubleshoot the browser and test the symptoms. If you are using Internet Explorer, please try the steps mentioned below to reset it to default settings:

    1. Click Start> Control Panel> Internet Options

    2. Click Advanced tab and then click Reset

Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would also like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, Tracking Protection, and ActiveX Filtering data.

    3. Click Reset in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box

    4. Click Close once Internet Explorer has finished applying default settings and then click OK

    5. Restart Internet explorer and check if it works fine.

Click on the link mentioned below if you would like to Reset Internet Explorer using MS Fixit http://bit.ly/b27Ik3

You can also download the below mentioned fixit to make Internet Explorer fast, safe and stable:

Also, try using a different browser such as Google chrome or Mozilla firefox as it would help you to isolate the issue better.

If you continue to face issues after trying the above mentioned steps, you can email me your computer’s service tag and your name as it appears on the account. I’ll check the system details and help you in the best possible manner. My email address is v_saini@dell.com

    Thanks & Regards

    Reloading Pages

i'm undecided in case you propose an internet site or no longer, yet while that's IE, use firefox until you may get this appeared after. Disable your browser upload-ons. If it is the workstation historic past, it must be video card appropriate.

Update the driver on your ethernet card/wifi card.
