Thirty years ago I received a letter that was soliciting funds for an atheist organization, I did some research. turns out that group filed the same way that the Catholic Church does.

All in all, it turns out a little knowledge is dangerous, amassed knowledge is just someones opinion after a time.

Most likely they are part of groups looking to gain the same tax/governmental benefits given to religious institutions.

Because they know that religions are nonsense and think by lowering it down to their status they are either equal or can actually win an argument.
