whcih tablet to buy iPad or samsung?

Tablet wise, Apple defeats Samsung. The iPad has a superior screen and specs when compared to the Galaxy lineup and more tablet optimized apps are available for iOS. That said, the Nexus 10 by Samsung has almost equal specs to an iPad, and the app ecosystem for android tablets is improving. Without any more information, I'd say an iPad.

If you're not looking at a large tablet but rather a 7 inch form factor, I recommend neither Apple nor Samsung, rather the Nexus 7 from ASUS. Apple's iPad mini is great but overpriced, and Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 doesn't even compare.

Samsung has went to a upgrade of the jelly bean os now i got to wait for all the apps to come out that support jelly bean system but still a good tablet , if you have the money get a ipad 2 or mini

iPad is the best tablet, it is better quality and has better applications designed for it. For Android tablets Google Nexus is the best but Samsung is ok for the price - sometimes there are good deals on Samsung with cashback etc but not at the moment.
