99 silverado problems?
hey guys well i have a situation which is rather confusing i have a 1999 Chevy silverado 6 cylinder it runs great sometimes i can drive it all day with no problem but somtimes i go to start it and it wont start it sounds like its trying to it will chug like its trying to turn over but it wont if i leave it alone for like 6 hours it will start right up this is very weird please help thank you

am not sure its the same issue but my grandfather had the same problem with his chevy truck back in the late 90s. It was a v8 though and finally located down to something with one of the wires or computer... it took a long time to find out what was wrong and it would only do it on occasionally.

I'd have the battery tested first.
