Question about curlformers?

Hi, I love the look of curls I achieve them but always have one problem....there is always an ugly crease in my hair where the top rubber piece of the curlformer is. No matter if I put them in at the roots or lower. Any advice?

Maybe you need to put them up further if that makes sense.

I've never used curl formers before, but I've seen many tutorials of them on Natural Afro hair.

I'd opt for flexirods like someone else has said. You won't get a crease w/ those.

Go for flexi rods. Check out the way to use them on youtube.
