I got a job this year which I am considered an independent contractor. I will only have made about 5,000 from it at the end of the year. My hubby is an employee, and his earnings will be about 24,000 with about 2,600 withheld for federal and 426 withheld for state. We have 3 children, 2 in school with the oldest being 14. I just curious how bad my independent contractor job will hurt us. Thank you

My children and I have a CPO against my husband and I hear he is planning to file a motion to get it dropped. It was due to a fight we had in which he returned to the home intoxicated with loaded guns. The order has been in place for 3 months now, its a 5 year older. Whats the liklihood that he can get it dropped? Also, will I have to appear in court or just him? I am not sure of the process. Thanks

Im looking at a 2002 gmc envoy at a dealership. They just put a new tranny in it but the vehicle has 210,000 miles. they say its highway miles. It runs great. The milage worries me, but Im a girl who doesnt know much about this stuff lol. I guess my question would be is 210,000 miles really all that bad? P.S. they want 4,000 for it out the door. :)

Hi, I love the look of curls I achieve them but always have one problem....there is always an ugly crease in my hair where the top rubber piece of the curlformer is. No matter if I put them in at the roots or lower. Any advice?

hi, i was told toward the end of my pregnancy (last blood test) that i was anemic (low hemoglobin count). well im no longer pregnant, but i was wondering if i would still be anemic and possibly purchase geritol or something, or was it only due to pregnancy? thanks for any advice.

my motor had blown, so we got a used one from a junk yard and ever since we have put that motor in the car will not shift right. Its like it doesnt want to go when you push the petal and you have to "mash the gas" then left off and hit the gas again to get it to shift. We cant figure out what would be causing it and assume it would not be any transmission problem because the transmission was always good, no problems until we changed the motor. Anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks

I was told that you can but it has to be cold water...and that you have to let the washer fill up with the bleach before you start adding clothes and to not add the clothes before and they will be ok (brighten but not change colors). is this true? I wanted to ask so i dont ruin a load of dark clothes if not. thanks

serious question- im 25 weeks pregnant expecting a baby boy and my due date is Jan 17th. My vagina feels fatter or puffier and just bigger. I just wonder if this is normal for being 25 weeks because it makes me nervous thinking about preterm labor. Is it normal for you vagina to change like that at just 25 weeks? Thanks
