Would it be worth it to start selling Avon?

I was thinking of signing up for Avon but only selling it online through the website they give you (I dont get out much). Would this be worth it at all? Thanks

honestly...NO...I tried it and it is a lot of motion for not a lot of rewards...although if you can work it...I mean work at a place where you could sell which I did but there is always outgoing cost and you have to have some money to invest..

.here's a simple example...it cost 10 dollars to get started..then you have to buy the little books and everyone wants one but out of 10 catalogs you might get 4 sells and that's not enough unless they are large orders....and more than likely those people will not order the next time. You need the bags for the products when you deliver You will want to have samples and share some products and of course you'll buy things you do not need. All of that cost you money.

I paid my account in full everytime and had one billing situation that was internal and my rep was no help with the situation at all...even the district rep was no help and I lost sells because I could not provide the service with the glitch they created. They also wanted me to pay for a bill I did not create before I could get other products....it was a huge mess...and it was a hassle and a lot of wasted time on the phone

now the rep will tell you all the great things about avon...building the business and earning trips and making big bucks...but this means ...out of 10 catalogs you are selling to 10 people at about 50 dollars or more each time...but building a customer base takes a lot of time...do you know 10 people that will buy now and 10 people that will buy in the next two weeks and 10 new people in week 5...it's unlikely...and she makes money off you so she wants it to sound good...

when you start selling a lip gloss here and a lipstick there...an eyeliner her and a mascara there..if it is the wrong shade or color it needs to be returned...all a pain..and accounted credited...highly unlikely in my experience..

also you need a computer...all ordering happens on line

the only thing I really enjoyed was the little online avon classes..i called avon college where they had a little information piece and you answered questions to pass the course...

save your 10 bucks and do something else...feel free to email me for more insight...I can not mention here..
