Re-discovered my PSP, how to update it and where to download games?
I've refound my PSP from 2009, quite excited but haven't troubled it since then so I know its outdated. It's currently got Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-6. How do I update it? Can I update it straight to a current version or do I have to take steps? Where do I download the Custom Firmware and once I've updated it where do I download new games from?
As much help as possible please. Thanks

If you have a PSP 1000, then upgrade it to 6.60 and then update to 6.60 PRO-B10(fix) and if you want use the permanent patch to make it permanent.
If you have a PSP 2000, then upgrade it to 6.60 and then update to 6.60 PRO-B10(fix) and if you want use the permanent patch to make it permanent. If the motherboard is TA-088v3, then dont use the permanent patch.
I dont know how the 3000 works but it probably works just like the PSPgo. Use PSPIdent v0.75 if your PSP's motherboard can work with CFW. Also if your PSPgo supports 6.20, then use 6.20 PRO-B10(fix)
to use permanent patch. If it can't support 6.20 then go for 6.60PRO-B10(fix) and use Flash Recovery every time your PSPgo shuts off because it's litecfw. I won't give you all of the links to the OFW updates because there are like 8 of them (4 for PSP 1-3000 and 4 for PSPgo). Just google them and you'll eventually find it (PSPgo updates are pretty hard to find).
Links will be in the source box and click the 2nd link to find all the info you need about PRO-B10.
If you want to find new PSP games just google them or click the 5th link.
