Should I join the USMC or the Navy?
I want to be an Officer in the Marines I still need to take my ASVAB and also do I need to score really high because I want to be an officer and I do I need a high SAT score also? My transcript isn't so good the first 2 years of high school but I do have A's on the last 2 years im currently a senior
and in the Navy I don't want to be an officer I just want to enlist and go into Law enforcement training and then becoming either a police officer, correctional officer , or even a private investigator all those law enforcement jobs sound great to me but I only attended 1 year of JROTC and I won't get that promotion or do they even give out promotions to those who join the Navy after 4 years of JROTC in highschool?

The ASVAB is only for enlisted personnel. That score doesn't matter for officers.
You need to go through NROTC Marine Option to get to be an officer in the Marines or go through PLC for 2 summers during your 4 year stay at any college.
Google them for more information.

In order to be an officer you must have college credits or join ROTC at a university. I'd go to college first and get a better pay grade. Talk to a recruiter about the extra pay grade. Buddy of mine only did two years and got PFC.

How do you feel about homosexuals in group showers or female front-line combat troops in your foxhole (or both??)????
Right now is not a good time to consider going in when so many disgruntled service men are opting out.
