My acer Netbook won't load videos?

I have an Acer netbook, and it has always run fine when it comes to streaming videos, but within the last few weeks, I can't seem to get them to load. They just load endlessly. Please keep in mind that I do NOT mean downloaded videos (those work on VLC fine) and I do not mean Netflix, or Youtube, those also (strangely enough) work. I am talking about from sites where you stream TV shows/Movies.

I have tried to update flash, cleared my history, turned off popup blocker, and I do not use a virus protection...any ideas?? Also, I know it isn't the site, because it works fine on my PC.
