Why do people ask questions regarding their biblical beliefs?
It seems to me that they are not interested in seeking the truth of their beliefs but they are just seeking confirmation of their belief.

The Holy Bible King James version clearly states that we should study to show thyselves approved, and a workman be not ashamed. This means that we should study and read the Bible for ourselves, and not totally depend on man;s interpretation of specific verses. Man is human, and will be biased in his interpretations, and use the scriptures to validate their biasness. Some things you can accept literally in the Bible. some rhetorically and some with a grain of salt.
Stop expecting humans to validate other humans. Christ validated us when he died on Calvary for all of our sins back then, now and in the future. If you wait to hear the truth from the minister on Sunday, you will be at a loss. Even illiterate people can read the Bible.
