Is the house of representatives supposed to be made up of normal citizens?

Both the House and the Senate were intended to be made up of normal citizens. The Senate was intended to better reflect the wishes of the individual states however, that why both Senators are elected at large. z

Thank you for your question. The House of Representatives is where the people are represented. They can elect what ever kind of people they want. Since the House is controlled by Republicans most congressional districts in the United States voted to be represented by Republicans. Once again thank you for your question.

by the way a normal citizen would be a non lawyer. a normal citizen would have some sort of real world experience doing something.

I haven't seen any normal citizens in Congress my whole life. Matter of fact there haven't been any normal people in Congress since before Mark Twain.

It used to be that the normal people who were elected weren't corrupted until they were there for four years or more. Now the republicans elect ones who were corrupted years ago. I have yet to hear a republican say something that was actually true.

you need to not legally require the age for information superhighway voting to be diverse than that for poll-casting often elections. And allowing the final inhabitants to vote would not probably paintings that nicely. i'm not sure that the homestead works, yet regularly occurring information superhighway voting isn't a competent replace.
