Cycle Dynamo? How does it functioning?

For dynamo of the bicycle,

How come the dynamo is earthed?

If there is only one source, how does the electricity flow?

    Cycle Dynamo is a Simple Magneto Generator. A coil wound on a Iron Core that is the stator(In centre a permanent Magnet is used as a Rotor which spin with high RPM , Coil cutting the magnetic line of force which Induces a Alternating current(EMF) in it .One terminal is(earthed) Grounded other terminal taken with a Insulated stud that is the out put respect to Ground (Metal Body is the other Terminal) .The out put Voltage approximately 6V & 12 V AC<1 A only are available .
