Human Geography homework help please?

Public and private space (including “personal” space) is viewed differently in the customs of Europe and the United States than in the customs of India. Picture the public marketplaces in South Asia and the Middle East (or look for videos of them on YouTube). Why do many Europeans and Americans appear to be so uncomfortable in these marketplaces?

    1) There are too many people in such a market as compared to that seen in the west,& he feels uncomfortable.

    2) Too many people are watching him, some for curiosity, others trying to find whether he can make a fast buck from him -which he knows.

    3) The ways & means of the market place, wares, the way they are stacked, some times in an unhealthy condition, all of these are not in tune for his expectations,& he feels confused & out of place.

    4) He doesn't understand the language & takes a long time for the deal to be struck. When he has to shell out the local money,he doesn't know how much exactly he is asking & then he has to show some money,& looking into the wads of notes, sometimes more is taken from his hand & he definitely feels he is duped.

    5) These market places are in an alley,or some other congested place & he finds it difficult to carry all of these to the nearest public vehicle.

    6) As there is too much of people, there is dirt in air, filth & vile smells all around which he would never have smelt way ack home & with this he feels uncomfortable - trying to guess all the time its origination.
