tips for getting onto cheer?
Im trying out for cheer! (side line and competition) i can do a round off, frontwalkover, and soon will get a backhandspring from gymnastics. Im not that flexible, i really want to get on so i need advice...

yes find a qualified coach to help with your tumbling and stretch 2 times a day hold each stretch for 30 seconds it should have some discomfort but not hurt...also remember the judges look for potential and t when you make the team you will get the training you need for that team.. just go out there and show them what you have with confidence.. be sharp and smile and you should be fine.. If you want to get some skills perfected before tryouts like I said find a gym with qualified coaches and take a class... but remember just do your best

Well everyday I touch my toes for an hour and it really feels good after a few days :) Just do lots and lots of stretches for 30 mins a day

stretch every day, very important. also be very loud at try outs.. they will very much like that. wear bright colors to stand out. be confident and dont et nervous because the nervous girls are always the worst ones. have fun!!
