Honest question..Have you ever seen a ufo?

Sure, I've seen two. From time to time I tell the story on here and its singularly unimpressive, but I feel its typical of what UFO stories are, when they aren't fabricated or embellished.

1) While out at the lake in the summer, I saw a bright white glow far off towards the horizon, followed in lock-step by a smaller glow, looking like two tiny suns. It was silent and moved slowly, then faded out like a guttering flare. Hundreds of people saw it.

2) After a long day, I was resting my head against the window of car while someone else drove me home, watching the trees go past, I could only see a small slice of the sky between the tops of the trees and the car, when I saw a brightly lit oval shape pass over the trees and disappear from sight above the car. I quickly slid to the other window, but it was gone.

1) Most Likely: It was an airplane. Sure, there was no engine noise, but air was still and clear and the horizon was very far away. That light could have been off the wings and vertical stabilizer... and that is what makes this classic. There is simply no way to know. Insufficient data. One person with binoculars would have settled the whole question.

2) Most Likely: It was a dream. After a long day and a monotonous drive, who knows? Did I fall asleep? I was actually near an Air Force base at the time and certainly this could have affected my imagination.

UFOs can be a lot of things, but they are NEVER an alien spacecraft.

Okay, when I lived in Warwick, (Oranage County) New York I saw many ufo's. This was during the early 1990's. I remember seeing several as a child. Last year I bought a book called weird New York. In that book it names the same town that reported many ufo spottings. No one really knows what a ufo is. It makes you wonder based on what I said. Buy the book in your interested lots of cool stuff.

(lets start with the fact that I believe that UFO's are probably just some kind of secret government aircraft- not little green men lol)

Once, I was in my backyard with my dog very late, it was like 3 am, and I looked up and I saw this light that looked like a plane but all of a sudden it got real bright and lit up the whole sky and literally shot off into space super-fast like in the movies. I know it sounds really cheesy but I really did see it. Needless to say I was very weirded out so I went back inside immediately!! I always wondered if it was some kind of astronomical event, but I never found out anything else.

yes. I am very empirically minded professional and have seen one object in the sky the behavioral characteristics of which preclude a celestial object such as star, planet, meteor. nova, etc. as well as man made, such as satellite and atmosphere man made such as airplane or helicopter or balloon as well as preclude climatalogical.

the object was a discrete well defined ball of bright light which was stationary for 45 minutes during which time stratus clouds, two commercial airliners and their contrails passed under it, momentarily obscuring it. this occurred in broad daylight which means that the light source had to be extremely powerful fir it to outside ambient daylight while being above 40000 feet.

during which that time any celestial object would have moved more than 10th degrees and satellites even faster. weather balloons would also have moved with the wind, whereas this object remained lined up with a light post above my head which I used to confirm the light was not moving. after 45 minutes it slowly became dimmer and began to move in a south west direction.

Unfortunately no, I have not seen any UFO's out there, but I have noticed jets, airplanes and helicopters flying out at night time.

I wish they were real though, that would be pretty freaking sweet!! :)

Yep there was one in the kitchen last night. It was a moth, but I could not identify the species. Therefore it was an unidentifed flying object.

Nope...I'd love to spot one though
