Sims 3 Expansion Pack Help?
I really wanted to play the sims 3 today, but i cannot because I lost my ambitions cd. I was wondering if I bought another expansion pack, a different one such as late night, would I be able to play my game then?
Also, How does downloading an expansion pack work? Like installing from the sims 3 store directly. Which way is better?

i suggest getting the disk, because you can register it and then have the online copy. (so if you lose it again you at least use origin and have a way to get it back.) the only problem with that is that you might not get to play today. but the way the expansions work is by, which ever is newer then the newest pack you have now will be the disc you need when you play it. so if the newest one you have is ambitions... they came out with quite a few since then. you can get late night if you want. the only one i think you cant get is world adventures...

If you bought the game then you can just get a crack which will bypass you having to use the cd. Go to gamecopyworld.
