In mw3 which is better?

i like using the model 1887 shotgun but i wana know if the "damage" perk is best to use or the "range" perk

    it depends on your preferance and performance.. if it usually takes you 2 hits to kill go for damage. but if you always end up in longer distance situations go for range

    I like to use ACR and sniper but i wish i know alot about shotguns sorry :(
