In duets, do you prefer playing (or singing) along with the same instrument, or do you like playing with a complimenting instrument?

    I know this is a really boring answer, but I really think it depends on the piece and the instrument being played.

    well, i don't like to play along with other musicians, that's why i play as a one-man band stomping, singing and playing a stringed instrument at the same time

    singing is pretty good! both work for me though
