Why are there so many questions about straight relationships on the LGBT forum?

Honestly, I ain't even mad. But it does seem a bit odd.

In all honesty I think the server that runs this forum has suffered either a gran mal siezure or has alzheimers. Evidenced by the fact that the spell checker now shows over 500 misspellings.

If I discount server brain-death, many straight people often look to our community for advice on relationships as well as sexual relations. I spent last summer feeling like a self propelled sexual encyclopedia for a friend's wife. She wanted to know how to make it better in the bed with my friend, she wanted to know what products she could buy to make it better, where would she get said products immediately, how she should deal with his belief that he'd cheated, had he cheated, and was their daughter having sex. What should she wear to a burger joint, what should she wear to a doctor's appointment, what should she wear while cooking dinner for her husband.

I think the only thing that made this not so frustrating was it took some of her focus off the other major interest, which was my sexuality and sex life. I had enough trouble working up the courage to come out, I really don't want to discuss how I knew, when I knew, how many partners, how many times, what the last one looked like, where we did it, and what was the first experience like.

I think she's got the same difficulties the Y!A server is experiencing.
