how do I stop Yahoo mail from automatically opening latest message?
this is annoying to say the least.
I looked over the yahoo mail tools but I can't find where to turn that feature off.
any help is greatly appreciated.

Click the gear icon in the top right of your inbox.
Choose Mail Options.
Under Viewing Messages, uncheck Show Next Email Message.
Remember to hit Save.
