Is it ok to have alcohol now, I lost lots of blood....please read?

I had a hemorrage in the ER 2 weeks ago, I lost enough blood, and almost had to have a transfusion, but DID NOT. They gave me IV's and released me next day. 2 weeks later and I am wondering if it is okay to have a glass of champagne? Im afraid to drink alcohol with a low amount of red blood cells, isnt that bad? or is one glass a day okay?

I would give it another two weeks for your red count to come up, but then, provided you don't drink a lot, you should be fine. If you still aren't sure, however, consult your doctor.
