What is this called..its very old, the size and shape of a shot glass, milky white and pink, Japan or China...?

When you look through the opening at the top to the bottom of this shot glass looking item, it has to be held to a light source because at the bottom is a beautiful asian girl (with clothes on) that has been carved out at the bottom inside of the glass. I know that it is very old but I would like to know what it's called. It's driving me crazy....haha......I could sure use all the help I can get on this one! Thanks lots~!!!!

I'm pretty sure its a Japanese sake cup called "o-choko". The idea is that if you keep holding your cup in the air and near a light source, you can see the girl at the bottom. Then the barmaster fills up your glass again. Depending on the quality and the age, they can be quite valuable. If you have what I think you have, they are worth about 20-30$ each.
