How can I meet LGBT people like myself online?
Hi, I'm a 17 year old female and I'm bi. I have recently found myself wanting to meet more people like me. Are there any websites that can focus on people in my area( Long Island, New York) ? Thank you!

I wouldn't trust websites I mean there may be one or two but generally they're places to hook up and find sex.. generally your best bet is to find a LGBT youth group if possible? NY is quite accepting of LGBT's isn't it? Would there be any youth group you can join? I know it may seem big and scary but trust me it's a great opportunity to meet people who are in the same or similiar positions, and will just understand incase you want to get anything off your chest. Aswell as just meeting some lovely people. I've joined one in England 2 weeks ago, been twice so far, and it's quite nice :) Obviously that depends on whether you have the opportunity in NY, as for websites.. no idea i try to stay clear of them..
