Coaching kids age 7-12 for the first time how to play football, what should be expected?

My son is 17 and is working for a company a week today teaching children how to play football, but what is he expected to do on his first session? What drill's will he have to teach them, and what is expected of him?

All views are welcome, but prefably from an experienced coach who has done this before at this level and has been in this situation.

There are lots of videos on line and in the stores to help, you learn training drills and exercises. But you can expect to have lots of fun. The real problem usually comes from the parents... Males.... Who live vicariously through their kids AND try to coach .... Without any of the responsibility. Let them know you are the coach and not them" OR enlist them to help! Tell, them you will ask when you need help (and do ask if you need it).

    Have fun!
