Cannot connect to wireless internet after resetting router settings?
So I have this android phone and it won't let me connect to wireless internet. Someone suggested me to reset the routter settings by pushing the reset button using a paperclip. After that, It doesn't seem to connect to my wireless internet anymore which is an insult to injury. I can connect to the ethernet cable but not on wireless.
I really have little knowledge when it comes to internet connection, can you help me configure it step by steps? Thanks you so much
No, I cannot connect to my laptop either. Just on ethernet cable, which I am using right now..
I just want my wireless back since, I don't care about my android connection anymore...

It sounds like your router might have reset back to factory settings. You have two options.. if you have the original disk that came with the router... install that and rerun the setup... it should restore everything back.... If you do not have the disk... just go to the website of the manufacturer and select the model you have in their search... and go to downloads. They SHOULD have a setup utility available for you to download... you'll need to know the model of your router... that should be written on the bottom of it...
Option 2 would be for you to go into your router settings and seeing for yourself what's going on... Just open up your browser and and in the field where you normally see the www.xxxx.com .... type in these numbers:
192.168.1.1
the user id and password should be: admin on both...
then go to wireless settings and security... depending on what your model is... if it appears disabled or turned off... you can turn it back on... you didn't specify whether or not you can see the signal... so I have no idea if it's broadcasting or not.
