Negative hiv test I'm good right?

I went and got tested for hiv a month after the encounter and the test came back negative and I haven't had sex since the time before and really don't want to go back and get tested again so should I get tested? The doctor that tested me said I didn't need to.

You need to get tested again 6 months after your first test.

  • Get tested again in 3 months and then 6 months.

I was told it could take up to 6 months for the test to be positive after being exposed to HIV or AIDs Id go back just for peace of mind.

Go to your doctor asap negative means you have the negative form which eats through your liver in about 9 months, its extremely dangerous

I think it takes up to 6 months for symptoms to show...I'd get retested in a few months
