gazprom sponsoring the champions league?

anyone think this smells a bit? nice way to get uefa to overlook some fffp issues me thinks.

    If I'm right, this company is Russian owned. Who do we know who is Russian, very rich and has interests in football? (but no longer the CL).

    Any club will grab the money from sponsors; it doesn't matter whether it is banking,beer,lasagna or horse burgers.
