Is each sperm cell a different person...?

This has boggled my mine for quite some time. If the man decides the sex of the embryo, does that mean each sperm cell is a different person...?? Let's say another sperm cell got to the egg before my sperm cell. Would be existing today...?

Pretty much, yes. That's why fraternal twins are different; eggs were fertilized by different sperm.

Yup. Infinite genetic variability. You could have sex once a day for 500 years and still never produce a genetic copy of a child.
