There is an accelerometer mounted in all cars that measures the G forces on impact.

They sometimes release these figures in a note worthy crash.

When Jeff Gordon hit the wall, almost head on at Pocono after a brake failure, it was recorded at 95 Gs.

The design of the car is to crush and come apart to lessen the sudden G forces of impact. The SAFER barrier walls also reduce impact forces.

well gforce=a/gravity. so if theyre going 190 and slow down in about 11 seconds then acceleration=-27.723km/h and that divided by gravity (9.81) is about 2.8 g's..... i think

Depends on how tight the g-string is.
