Any hair cuts for wavy long hair that will make my hair look thinner and straight?

So my hair grow really fast and now I want to get a haircut someday this week :). I have long wavy hair and they are so thick that I hate it. Is there any haircut I can get that will make my hair look thinner and straight? I have black hair by the way!

    Get it thinned! Layers will just make it thicker.

    Layers, will rlly make ur hair look thinner. U can also ask the hairdresser to thin it out. As for the straighter part, I rlly can't help u D: got the same problem
