Software for computers which removes specific frequencies from all sounds?
Hi,
I have noticed a worrying ringing (i.e. possibly mild tinnitis) recently, like the sound a TV emits when turned on with the sound off. I read that if you remove the frequency of sound of the ringing from music you listen to, it can actually reduce that ringing (probably to do with 'recalibrating' the brain).
So I was wondering how I could go about doing that. The best thing I think would be to get some software on my computer which is always active and can filter out the specific frequency of my ringing sound.

I'm aware that a DAW can do that: I'm basically looking for the specificity and level of control that the equalisers in a DAW offer but constantly active and applid to all sounds.
Music players do have equalisers, but they are not specific enough for me. I basically want a frequency somewhere around 10-15Khz entirely removed from all sounds, and this would be a very narrow frequency range. Music player equalisers, however, only offer 'blanket' equalisation over about 5Khz; if I removed any of these ranges it would ruin the sound of my music.

I'm not sure if there is an app that would process all audio your computer emits. In the audio world, you can remove frequencies using shelving filters, types of equalization through a DAW program. But have no idea if there is a program that can process everything, sorry.

Any self respecting baby-spying application isn't gonna look under upload/eliminate courses. i might advise in basic terms paying on your individual pc, possibly attempt and hit upon a job over the holiday break to pay for it. If that's no longer an determination then this is beneficial to purely browse the information superhighway via a proxy. in the journey that your nicely versed in abode windows you're able to cut up the stress partition and deploy a 2nd replica of abode windows with out the undercover agent application.
