If UKIP are the UK Saviours?
Why could they not even beat Nutty Caroline Lucas and the headcase Greens in the 2010 GE??
Dont get me wrong I think UKIP talk the talk and its all good but surely they should have a seat or 3 in the house by now.

That was than, some three years ago. Things have changed and no doubt UKIP will take votes from several of the major Parties and without any doubt, send the Lib/Dems into Dusty Bin.As for the Greens, well they will immigrate to a planet far away and live in Treehouses.

I think the rise in UKIP has been fairly recent to be honest- perhaps largely from the defection of some of the Tory right-wing over such issues as Europe and same-sex marriage; perhaps there is also disaffection with many of the main parties and the current coalition government in particular, meaning there are people seeking an alternative. and of course Euro-skepticism will reasonably have increased following the Euro crisis and disaffection over immigration at a time when there are few jobs. al of which might lead to the support of a party which wants us out of the EU...
Back then there probably was more hope in the left-wing too.

UKIP will win seats in the South, such as Essex and Surrey, I can see them winning most of the seats in Essex. By 2020 they will replace the Tories as the UK main right wing party, most likely with a change of name. Lib Dems will be down to less than 10 seats and the Greens back to none.
The GE will be between UKIP, Tories and Labour, outcome could be UKIP-Conservative coalition with a referendum every five years on in or out.

fist past the post is a tough system to break through.
they have about 14% in the polls but thats spread across the country.
If UKIP can perform well in the council elections in may, then they have a chance of getting MP's.
if not then there share of the vote will increase in 2015 but they will not gain an mp.

Before I bake a cake, I'll have to say: I like thousands of others have listened to Nick Farage speeches in the EU parliament in Brussels I would suggest that the sceptics of the integrity of this leader also lTake care.

Theyre still small, and most UKIP supporters are defected Tory voters, so in unsafe Tory areas, people who support UKIP tend to vote tory anyway in order to keep Labour out

Well they aren't plain and simple
The UK.. which I love .. has no hope of being releveant without the EU.. the two other big nations france and germany get what they want out of europe because they know how to play the game of politics in the eu, we refuse to play and miss out on billions and billions and much else

If Ucrapp are the UK's saviours, I'm the Pope.
It might be something to do with their flat tax scam, or the fact that Farage is a notorious bigot, xenophobe and misogynist, or that they are just another gang of Tories, or that Brighton's very much a university seat where the Greens naturally do well.
And in my view, the only seats in the house they actually merit are in the shithouse.

UKIP are rather like Sein Fein. In the case the political ing if the far right they're in a European parliament group called "Europe of Freedom and Democracy", which includes four members of the far-right, anti-gay United Poland party and nine members of the Northern League, the rightwing Italian party.
It's basically homophobic, and Farage has written material for the Polish group, who are anti gay marriage.
A homosexual UKIP member was expelled ! the MEP Nikki Sinclaire, who was expelled from Ukip for refusing to sit with Northern League colleagues in the European parliament, told the Observer that Ukip was still "without a doubt homophobic".
So much for being saviours!!
