Why does craigslist tolerate bots & scammers?

There was an article that said they had 29 total employees. None of them were dedicated to fighting spam. Attempts to get them to focus on spammers were not successful. They do say "Thanks for flagging" when you report a scammer. It must be a corporate decision... fighting scammers would take more money.

they don't tolerate them, its just that they can't kill em as fast as new ones pop up.
