Best time to drive for new driver. Florida (Tampa Bay Area)?
Im a pretty new driver. I have been driving in neighborhoods and parking lots, but never out on the highway. The main high way where i live the speed limit is 55mph but most people go around 65-70 sometime 80 i know! i live in florida in the Tampa Bay area. New Port Richey (city) is where im going to be driving. Tomorrow is Sunday so people are going to be going to the beach. probably around 10am. What time do you think it would be best?

Sunday morning is good. The freeway is still crazy though and the junctions to get to the causeway are STUPID. Take someone who knows the junctions very well.

I agree with "Nomad" here. Please take an experienced person with you. Safety is a curious thing. Most of us learn from mistakes. However, mistakes on a highway can be unforgiving and expensive. This way, that experience can scream at you, scare the living poop out of you, and you will still have your car in one piece, not to mention others equipment as well. Just know the screaming or harsh stern talk has to come for the best benefit. Don't take it personal, and thank your companion for their sacrifice, after you've given them a case of nerves, OK?
