how to get my title fixed?

so im buying a car for 600 bucks it runs and drives it was orginally just a parts car but the guy i know fixed it and im buying it the problem is the orginal owner signed the title in the wrong spot is what im told and the guy my friend bought it from wasnt the orginal owner and never signed the title over to himself , the orginal owner sold the car and that guy never got the title put in his name. he later sold the car to my buddy who still did not put the title in his name im buying it and want to put it in my name but it was signed in the wrong spot by the orginal owner how can i get this straightened out ?

    LOL. You are (deeply) involved in a "jumped title" scheme. Short answer: You need a valid merchaNTABLE TITLE GIVEN TO YOU AND PROPERLY SIGNED BY THE GUY YOU ARE BUYING THE CAR FROM. bY THE SOUNDS OF YOUR SITUATION, YOU WOULD BE WISE TO run, not walk away from this "deal".
