Looking for a children's horror book?

I'm trying to find a book that I read whilst in primary school. It was a collection (not sure if anthology) of short stories for Key Stage 2 readers. The titles were generally one word with exclamation marks at the end e.g. Fear!

I can't remember the author's name, but one of the books had something about a boy getting his hand trapped under a lawnmower, with the middle finger getting chopped off.

I'm not sure that this is relevant, but I'm in the UK and I think that this is where the books are also originally published.

Thanks in advance!

Update:

Thanks guys, but it wasn't R.L Stine, I've already checked

    Goosebumps

    And

    Shivers

Personally, I always thought "Shivers" were better than "Goosebumps" because It always had much more intresting plots. But, that's just me. And, I am just, well, a blob on this earth, from space. Not even that, so don't think you have to listen to me.
