Traffic Accident Whose fault?

I was in a Traffic accident last Wednesday. I was turning left on a green light, at the intersection,my car had straightened out from the turn, the other car was making a left hand turn into a business from the left hand turn lane a few yards from the intersection. He turned in front of me and I hit him on the passenger side door. Who is at fault?

Not your fault. They were supposed to,yield the right of way to you since you were in the driving lane. They were in the turning lane.

If it really is a unmarried-lane highway, then driver B is at fault. No lane designation ability it really is a unmarried-lane highway and the Jaguar ought to not have arise on the right. Passing on the shoulder is an unlawful shifting violation, yet thousands of thousands of persons (ILLEGALY) pass a left-turning vehicle on the shoulder each day. in case you referred to as a cop, the cop ought to've given driver B a cost ticket. that's all assuming there is no lane (or a sturdy white shoulder-line) on the right area of driver A. If it became 2-lane, then driver A (van) is at fault for not making a outstanding-adequate excellent turn.

It will be the other persons fault. They have to yeald to oncomming traffic when making a turn. Unless of course your speed was high after making the turn. Did you lay down any skid marks?

Seems to me you should have had time to stop if you had juat made a turn.

If you hit him then it's your fault. You're suppose to always watch the cars in front of you.
