ALGEBRA 1 QUESTION HELPP!?

If you don't know already, slope-intercept form looks like this:
y=mx+b
m represents the slope and b is the value of the y-intercept.
So in order to find the slope/y-intercept for that equation, convert into slope-intercept form.
8x-9y=19
First subtract 8x to get the -9y alone.
-9y=19-8x
Then divide by -9 to get just y alone.
The final form is: y=8/9x-19/9
So your slope would be 8/9 and your y-intercept -19/9.
