Higgs Boson Particle question?
I just read an article about the Higgs Boson Particle they think they found. The article said that tens of billions of years from now the particle could actually destroy the entire universe. So my question is if anyone knows if there is a possibility that there could have been multiple Universe's and multiple Earth's? If this Higgs Boson thing destroys the Universe, could that explosion create the big bang for another Universe to start. Space is constantly expanding and contracting. So once it contracts too much could it explode and again create another Universe? Does anyone know if this Higgs Boson Particle could be a potential explanation for the big bang? Or if scientists are looking into a theory regarding that?

I dont believe the Higgs Boson will destroy the universe. It is a subatomic particle that gives atoms mass when the atoms pass through the Boson field. Also, there are so many different theories on how the universe will end, we musn't believe anything said about the Higgs Boson so early. There is no confirmation and no proof that it actually does exist. If you want to look into how the universe may end, read into the Big Freeze or Big Rip.
