    The US is not fighting in Iraq or anywhere else in the middle east. It might do you some good to watch the news and open a geography textbook sometime.

    Do you actually read a newspaper or online news source? Did you pay any attention in school? Do you know how to use a search engine?

    We have been out of Iraq for almost two years - and even then, Iraq is not really in the Middle East - more in Southwest Asia.

    As far as the actual Middle East, we've never fought there.

    They aren't in the Middle East anymore, they left Iraq 2 years ago and Afghanistan is not a part of the Middle East, it is southwest Asia. You are slow.

    War in Iraq is over... And we're fighting militant organizations. Not just in the Middle East either, in Africa as well.

    @wraeth

    Well, Afghanistan is part of the Greater Middle East...

    Control of OIL.... not to mention that the area has the largest opium production in the world.

    Why does George W. Bush own Halliburton which has pipelines running through the Middle East?

    Why doesn't gas prices down? It is because all these scumbag politicians have a vested interest in OIL and all have investments in petoleum products $$$$.

    Somebody is making an enormous quantity of money from these wars. And it's we tax-payers that are paying for them!

    So, rather than our tax-money being used to sustain society, provide education and health-care in a well managed and funded economy, it's nearly all going straight into the pockets of weapons manufacturers.

    It is actually quite bad when you awake to the insanity of it all.

    Because Iraq sucks... and the people there suck more.
