Are we being over regulated by our government?

Starting a small business used to be easy, not anymore. Lets say you want to wash windows for a living. You must be licensed in your state 1500.00 bucks. You must have insurance and a bond 1500.00 bucks per year...depends on credit rating. Now you have to be "lead certified" which will cost 200.00, plus classes to maintain your certification. we are being bilked out of our earned money. This cant continue, or people will stop going into business, that simple.

plus you need a county license and then a separate license for every city in that county that you serve (here anyway). It's nuts.

So you're saying that a business can't pay ~$4k a year to cover all those costs?

Every business knows that at the beginning(few months) they operate on loss but then they make profit.I don't think 4K is a big issue. That's what the bank are for, you go and take a loan if you want to start a business.

No, the government is not over-charging us.

Those regulations are there to protect people, not hurt them.
